  1. good progress there arch 3 to 4 second drop in times is a lot in sprinting, donalds car is in a class above(no offence) 2.5 with a 20g is definately a good combination for what your doing and i'm sure you will improve more as you get used to the new set up
  2. usually £10 to get in to crail and £15 to go on the 1/4 mile open to all
  3. lookin good jase, what turbo are going for with the stroker?
  4. nice runaround scott 343bhp can't be bad for nipping to the shops
  5. 1. Braveheart. 2. P1 Matt. 3.Green_Goblin (will try and get that date off work) 4. Playsatan 5. HI_JAC 6. jimser i'll probably be the slowest there but the big guy loves a trier allegedly
  6. 1.5/6 bar on a 2.5 wrx,is that standard set up?ie before any map etc? seems a bit high, car will be rapid with a vf34 on it though
  7. i used syntrax in both g/box and rear diff in the spec c. there is probably something better out there but at the time i needed oil quick and halfords was local
  8. or something like this http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1203525.htm
  9. needs a bit of tlc http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1216970.htm
  10. yea well if you find a turbo that does both let me know aye was sitting doing nothing for too long chris, still wondering how long the clutch will last lol never noticed mate, most chippy's up here are shut around 3pm
  11. thats a bummer, were you much over the limit?
  12. sure was craig! no problem mate, just glad you didn't go flat out after my visit to mcdonalds cheers stevie, blind faith and all that
  13. when i said it was over 400bhp,i'd reckon its closer to 440 maybe more but don't want to be making any wild claims without a graph etc to back it up.not done much boost/rev tests yet but i would reckon full boost at just under 4000rpm.spec c was on full boost at 3600rpm for reference. with a 2.1 i personally would go for the t,really depends what you want to use the car for?for short sprints then an h or 20g would probably be best option.
  14. no problem alex, hope get everything sorted out soon
  15. cheers folks cal-had same launch control and anti lag on the spec c,classic seems to be easier to launch but noticed today it takes a lot longer to climb in revs, probably due to the avcs heads and cams that the spec c had dunk-its a t
  16. sorry no picture taking involved, just a visit to port seton for a tad more power and to get the launch control and anti lag enabled on my car. being a simtek ecu theres no road dyno capabilities but andy's famous butt dyno is estimating over 400bhp and over 360lb/ft only running 1.65 bar so a bit more to come once the map sensor is upgraded. til next time
  17. im sure there will a couple closer, but mines is in barrhead if thats any use to you
  18. well done folks if i didn't have the most common model of impreza there is i would have maybe made it too
  19. marty on here who posts as scoobaru has a 20g for sale if anyones interested,im sure its an andy f one too so no worries about being a cheap copy!
  20. car is 10 years old and covered 57000 miles,i'm assuming that they are the original lines from factory
  21. found it on scoobynet grant, most of the works already been done.have changed the turbo, new front bells, rotors and pads and added an avcr.oh and a switch for anti lag as for spec its pretty much all been covered by previous owner 2.0l built engine,6 speed box, ast coilovers, whiteline bars, alk etc.£23k later he decided he wanted a bike again so good on him
  22. short term fix was to replace with standard fuel hose,i take it you adapted your rails for dash fittings?did you get that done locally?pm if you prefer not quite, just a built 2.0l with an md321t so about 450 ish turbo was fitted a couple of weeks ago chris, just to get it mapped now.was quite surprised at the size of the 20g alongside the t t on the left not sure tbh its factory fuel lines.as arch says your probably better going for braided lines
  23. no offence mate but thats the kind of stupid remark i expect from an idiot
  24. well not quite but after the resident inspector(dci lee) pointing out that my fuel lines looked slightly fubared decided to replace the lines to/from the reg to rails etc.most were like this but after taking the inlet manifold off to reach the t piece for the parallel rail doofer, which is a right pain in the butt found this absolutely gubbed! visions of this came to mind can be doing without another day like that the end ps. thanks for the help big chap but stop biting them nails
  25. yip dangerous stuff and dont try to sython
