  2. Thanks, Should be good as new within the next couple of weeks all going well. But look out for tired heating engineers in Ford Transit Connect vans behind you in the morning (good thing is he got banjoed from behind at the same time). Kev.
  3. Hi All, I am totally depressed, my Scooby got shunted up the rear on the M8 yesterday morning on my way to Nobles. I was on my way to get the rear shocks checked out (knocking noise) and ended up getting an insurance quote for my exhaust, rear bumper and bent brackets. I got off lightly as the TSL rear back box acted as a crumple zone and took most of the impact. Cheers Kev.[:'(]
  4. Martin, You mentioned to me at the last meet I was at that the STI had a design flaw in the rear suspension ? What are the first signs of this problem ? What did they change on your car under warranty ? Regards Kevin.
  5. Chris, No worries with the "squeek". Anytime your brother is passing. Are you not happy with the Scooby ? I see the wife's car is up for sale (not another "BLUE" Scooby on the horizon?) Kev.
  6. Hi Chris, You are the only one I have seen with one. Any luck with info from Prodrive ? Kevin.
  7. All, Does anyone know if the exhaust from a newage "JDM" car is the same as a "UK" spec.car ? I know the downpipe is different (no cat), but is it the same 2nd cat, middle pipe and back box ? Cheers Kev.
  8. Hi Guys, Thanks for the diagrams, they are exactly what I was looking for (looks like my car has the de-cat pipe fitted). Next question is what do you mean by "limited warranty" ? What effect will this de-cat pipe have on the engine management (does it require adjustment)? Will it run better or worse if it has not had any adjustment ? Cheers Kevin
  9. All, I am after a diagram or webpage that shows me what my exhaust system should look like (2005 STI). The previous owner tells me when he traded it in he left the "cat pipe" on it. I want the diagram/website to see if the dealer has replaced it with an original "cat" or not. How will this effect the warranty ? I believe that this car should have 3 "cats" ? (1 on turbo inlet, 1 on turbo outlet (downpipe) and 1 in length) ? Any info much appreciated. Going to bed as just finished night shift, will check posting when I get up.[|-)] Cheers Kevin.
