  1. Hi Guys, I've been chatting with Higgy's Fiancé Mel, She's been onto the 2 threads here, and she's been pretty overwhelmed by the stuff you've been saying about him, and the memories and photos that you've been posting. Mel is asking that you keep posting your photos and stories on here, so they can collect them and put them into a life journal, book of memories, sort of thing, so that she has something to show their child when they are a little older. I believe her daughter is going through saving stuff from here, so if you could put up whatever you have, they would really appreciate this.

Mel also tells me that should we organise the run, that she might like to come up for it and meet us.

    Cheers,

    Dale.

  2. Very sad news indeed. Was always a cheery chap when I met him. RIP Simon :(

I'd like to partake in a run as long as a scooby isn't required (kind of missing one at the moment).

If I was on land long enough to make it along to the run, the you are ALWAYS welcome to ride in with me. :)

  3. How about, the same route from the 2007 Run.

Perth, Glenshee, Braemar, Alford (Including "The Bridge"), The lecht, Tomintoul.

lets face it, it's the one that started the fling off, and the one that got us all talking about the pic. if your going to do a run like that, then that's the one do do IMHO...

  4. Just found out, and Totally gutted to hear. He was an amazing character who really put a lot of fun into the events we attended, and I couldn't have imagined those times without him. Mad as a box of frogs! Got a lot of memories.

    RIP Higgy

  5. I still would have needed it for my MoT though Dale! Shouldn't need it next year though :)

Good to see its hopefully not needed though.

Aye, I need to get something sorted out, the system is turning into Swiss Cheese!!!

  6. Loved it. And as for leading Fast Single Track, love that too, so it's no bother, as long as you know how to drive it, it's not a problem, you just need to KNOW that you will be able to stop if you meet something coming the other way!!! Oh, and not minding your brakes taking a hamering helps too... ;)

  7. Welcome to the Real world Davey! :D Best Move I ever made! (Ex Rigger) No matter what a lot of the Snecs will tell you about it being a big bad scary world out here, it's totally fine.

I Think I had a week off to my self tops, before I started this job, and I was planning on taking a few weeks off before I started seriously looking for jobs! The ROV game is not a bad one to get into anyway, Moneys good, but you can be away a lot and working ad hoc can be a bit of a pain, but I love it.
