  1. Guys, looking for a bit of advice here.

Ive had my car up for sale for about a month now, ive had a few interested parties but not as much as i thought i would. Im aware that this is probably THE worst time to try sell a car but even considering that i didnt think i would have had a problem getting her shifted on.

As ive already bought my next project im obviously quite keen to free up the money i have tied up in the car and get cracking, hopefully without loosing a ridiculous amount of money (ish).

My current train of thought, and it seems to be more common these days, is to break the car. I think ill wait till the new year and do this. I currently only really have one chap interested in buying that car so obviously if he wanted to take it as a whole id be really happy.

Most of the parts i can value up with no issues but the shell is something i have absolutely no idea about. Its a type R so its at least slightly desirable and there isnt a hint of rust on her, only been in the country 2 years and has about 70k on the clock.

Heres a few pics for reference

If anyone would like a stab at what the shell is worth (V% is present of course) then that would be much appreciated

  2. Nope, the bottom hose will only get warm once the thermostat has opened, letting water into the radiator. If the hose doesnt get warm is means the thermostat is goosed and water isnt getting to the radiator.

  3. Does sound like a fan issue to me mate, the fact that you said when you were moving again the temp came down makes the point.

The standard fan switch makes the fans come on at about 90-91 degrees, as said let it idle for 10 / 15 mins and the fans should come on, basically when the temp gauge is around the middle.

Be worth checking to make sure water is getting through the radiator, make sure the bottom hose is warm once shes been running for a while.

Im mental paranoid about the cars cooling system so ive been through this a few times

  4. Porsche calipers and AP discs, i cant see why there would be any issue.

Take the dive mate, best thing ive ever done, for a car to be quick it needs to stop well, this kit will see you right

  5. ye nice pics.

IIf you get a good one then yes it will do all those things, i spent a while looking for a decent boss kit that will do all thoise things and cancel the indicators in the standard manner, the one you want is made my a company called HKB, i bought mine from RHDjapan.com, thing it was £110 to my door from japan, 10 days. Well worth it
