Sorry chaps I'm not a computer geek
A big thanks to Craig for organising an excellent day out, had a good run out to Ellon and a really good day at Japerformance, it was nice meeting everyone.
I’m well happy with the power figure, 251bhp from a UK my99 with just a back box.
Putting Diesel in a petrol car is okay just makes it Smokey and will only require a tank drain fuel filter change, but its not so good if you put petrol in a diesel and run it, due to the temp petrol burns at it can cause all kinds of problems. First thing to do if you put petrol in is try not to run the engine and drain the fuel tank and replace fuel filter and you will be fine but if it has been run there is a good chance of engine damage. If the car only travelled a short distance and stopped as soon as it started chugging there is a good chance your neighbour will have got away without causing any damaged but will have a hefty garage bill for draining the fuel system and replacing the fuel filter.

Hi All,
Has any other Classic owner had a problem with Rear brakes sticking? I use the car every day so it’s not due to sitting so was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. I will hopefully get them striped down and copper grease them over the weekend, was going to do it today but it’s been pi55ing down.

Glass's and parkers prices are always low. I think £7500
would be about right for your car Davie. Some dealers
are asking for over £8500 for standard MY99 Scoobies.
Sorry to hear that Davie.
Don’t know about a modified MY99 but have been told a standard one is worth
between £6K - £7.5K private. I'm also thinking of selling mine, payed more for mine from T&C in Aberdeen just over a month ago but never mind its only money after all.
I have a HD Hitachi plasma and think the picture quality is far better than the LCD's in the same price range, only down side with plasma telly is the life expectancy on them is around 4-5 year so extended guarantee is a must. I was looking at smaller LCD tellies for my Xbox 360 in Curry’s at the weekend and must say the higher priced LCD’s look spot on. I think it’s more of the case how much are you willing to pay!!! As both are very good.
Think your right about the mirror in the drivers sun visor Pete that tells you if it a woman’s car or not, my 11 year nephew said the same thing about 10 minutes ago and 11 year old car crazy kids know better than most grown ups so case close.
As for the Ladies driving Scooby’s fast there is a fare few ladies in Aberdeen that would embarrass a lot of guys, I had one following my tonight in a newage sti and she was well fast on the twisties.
I was out again today and it seems that in Aberdeen the newer Scooby’s are very popular with the ladies. So even if there is only “5 ish? Out of about 80+ users” on here that are women, it’s looking like the ladies like a fast motor too.
Had to edit wife seen post
NO the wife is not mental (just a little crazy). As for the small penis mines was big
enough to fill to prams so I must be one of the lucky ones. lol
Yes that was me Craig. I have my name down for the dyno day so I hope I'll still make it with the Scooby, that's if T&C can fix my gear box problem if not will be there with my super fast 115 bhp mk3 golf gti.

When I was out with the wife today I kept get slapped every time I waved to a fellow Scooby driver, after getting slapped a few time I asked her what you slapping me for!!! She replied why you keep waving to other woman, I replied I’m only waving to other Scooby drives. So after about ten minutes or so the wife asked me why I bought a woman’s car!! I asked her why she thinks a Scooby is a woman’s car her reply was that out of about 12 Scooby’s we seen today only two were driven by men. So has my wife got a point is the Scooby a girls car??????
I seen Craig on the road today just past Portlethen, all I can say is his car stands out from the crowed it must be one if not the nicest 05 sti's I have seen in Aberdeen.

The sales lads at T&C think it’s the synch mesh but will
get the tech's to have a look tomorrow. It’s a bit of a pain as I have only had
this car just over a month but good thing is I got a years warranty when I
bought it.
I’m a bit feed up today as my gear box is p00ped, every time I change up in to 4th it keeps crunching. It started of this morning as a little crunch and now after a few more mile of driving I now have to miss out 4th as the crunch it tooooo bad. I nipped in by T&C so it’s going in tomorrow so looks like a few days with out my Scooby.
