Just received new h/u for car which has ipod adaptor ready..

Has anyone got an apple ipod 1 or 2 gb's. not a shuffle. A later nano is fine. If you have anything or know anyone please drop me a pm.

came in a px today,[<)] the guy left it in for me,[]  handed over the instructions and warranty book and its only a couple of months old. as i dont want to get into dvds etc, thought i could download , or maybe get some one to download some more 80's stuff[] once i find a cheap ipod.

Bought both of my Ipods off of ebay - usual ebay caution applies but mine have been fine.  As Granby says, anything you currently have on DVD or CD can be ripped onto the ipod.  And you can also share music easily (music that has been ripped from CD, not music downloaded by Itunes), which opens up a whole host of sources.

You say you want a 1 or 2Gb ipod but i would go for a bigger size if you can (for example that DVD has over 4Gb of music on it so it can quickly fill up), i got my dad a 4Gb ipod mini a couple of years back thinking that would be enough........wrong, i got him a 30Gb ipod video for Christmas and am waiting for him to fill that up now []
