650 cc injectors

Hi guys i have been offered 650 cc injectors for the Scoob its a 04 STI PPP on the car at the mo is a full de-cat exhaust and its gonna get re-mapped and a cold air induction kit .

Would the injectors work with the car and would they make any difference to power or anything or would they just dump more fuel out the exhaust[^o)]. Any help is much appreciated guys as i know nothing about injectors and that side of things[*-)].

your injectors in your sti will see you to over 400bhp easily so unless you are going that direction then it is a complete waste of time. Also with the bigger injectors you would need to get it remapped to accomodate them or it would overfuel badly.

You could stick with your current injectors and get the fuel pressure increased

Would they be like the 550s you sold me about 3 years ago, the ones you said would fit right in, and which were phase 2 not phase 1.

What a palaver that was. I wouldnt buy injectors of this guy again.

Funny that - they ran fine for 4 months on a MY97 UK car (Phase1.5, same as Phase 1) so something isn't quite right somewhere..

Funny that - the 2 sets of injectors sold prior to your ones and the other 7 sets of injectors I have sold since then have fitted right intot the cars they were asked to fit into.

Fair enough, don't buy any injectors from me again.  I am sure your friends at the "rally preparation" garage will sort you out with a fine set for an excellent price.

Is this Gumballs old car?

I thought it already had bigger injectors fitted, to achieve the figures he had

What are the 550's good for? I thought they run out of steam at around 390 to 400 what ever the fuel pressure was?

If it is the car am thinking, i thought it already had a CAI Kit fitted?
