Richie Cross Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Hello folks, Well, I've had my first experience with Greers and I'm very happy. The car went in the other day and the boys put Eibach lowering springs, ALK, uprated fuel pump and braided brake kit. Letting the springs settle but it's feeling better already. Great bunch of lads. [Y] I'll save my pennies and then I'll be back for a decatted downpipe and new filter. Saw Andy's lovely car there as well. Stunning in the 'flesh'. [] Thought it was finished??!! One question about the braided brake kit. I take it they should be fitted and work straight away? No bedding in as such? Daft question I'm guessing but it's just that I feel there's more travel with my brake pedal than there was with the standard set up. Thought they were supposed to be more positive? Braking feels ok, just that I'm pressing the pedal more I feel. Cheers
diffbuster Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Pedal should feel firmer due to ballooning of rubber hoses being eliminated probably needing bled if the travel gets less after pumping the pedal its air in the system and it needs bleeding.

Sorted [Y] After being a pain in the a**e and popping back a couple of times after test driving, Bill kindly took the time to bleed both front and back. Don't think I took him away from doing Andy's car too much! []
fai17 Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 That's more like it...... A garage should always have second chance to rectify matters.
