Oil pressure guage going balistic??

Used the car to drive to work today, whilst carefully sitting at 70mph on M9, noticed the oil pressure guage jumping back and forward between 6 and 8 bar then flickering up to the 10bar.

as it was jumping back and forth i am assuming that there is a fault with the guage or sensor ( hopefully)

any thoughts[*-)]

My thoughts would be to get it checked out asap, hopefully it is just your gauge playing up

try the Oil pressure sender unit as mine done that fitted new sender unit and sorted []
