sandycam Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Just had these sent up to me (as i live in the sticks!) but i was expecting a few more bits! All thats in the box is the springs but i was expecting a fitting sheet with suspension settings and pretty sure i should have got bump stops as well? Anyone know for definate or have a copy they can email me? Also are the prodrive geometry settings the best? Just i'm pretty sure i've seen mentioned on here group "n" settings, whats the benefits? Thanks for the time, sc.
Guest AlanK Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Pass on the springs but I have heard "Fast Road Geometry" settings are supposed ot better than prodrive. Interested to hear others thoughs.. Alan
sti pretender Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Looking at getting prodrives myself. You don't get fitting instructions as manufacturers expect them to be fitted by a competent mechanic. Bump stops the originals are re-used. Regarding settings there are plenty members who will have these. If you don't get a response post up Group N tarmac settings. This was posted a wee while ago by Gus. Ac!D: is the group N tarmac settings better than prodrive ones? YES! and fyi group N is the same as "fast road" setting. tbh Prodrive is a bit harsh a setting for our roads as with the camber on uk roads you will generally get a pull to the left from the steering with Prodrive settings. Group N or fast road settings are more in tune with the road conditions/formation we have in the UK.
craig mac Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Quote "Fast Road Geometry" Alan As mine was set up, at Falkland Performance, and by jolly its good[]

Nothing to do with a competent mechanic fitting them, more interested in specific things for this kit, eg geometry settings and the sticker to say if the shock is changed the "prodrive" bumpstop has to be used as well.
markymark Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Are you fitting the rest of your exhaust as well this week Scott ? Let us know how it's sounding [] Got my old classic set up to prodrve settings @ T&C what a difference well worth it [Y]
sandycam Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 hopefully everything sorted by end of next week mark, but now have to wait for these bumpstops to come home, and waiting for my spoiler to be sprayed again[8o|] So fingers crossed lol!
