RALLYING IN FOREIGN PARTS.

The rallycar will soon be back up and running and Jon and I are thinking of an assault on the Belgium Tarmac, so if anyone is interested in coming over and supporting us, come along.

It will not be until later this year so no excuse for not telling you lot.

Hopefully the car will be back on the road over the next few weeks, it's been ages since it was last driven ( last Sept ), due to a broken selector fork on the dog box, we have now replaced the forks with Billet Steel ones so hopefully they will be strong enough.

A few new additions to the car are:-

Light weight pullies ( thanks to Chris at CDF Racing ).

2 pot rear brake conversion.

Inlet manifold spacers.

Plated rear diff.

ACD with ACDC. that's nothing to do with aircon either.

It's an active centre diff like the WRC cars run, with a GEMS 7 position centre diff controller adjustable between DRY TARMAC, WET TARMAC AND VERY SLIPPERY SURFACES etc, it electronically locks the diff off the start line for max traction and again under braking, pull the handbrake and it puts the diff into open to handbrake hairpins etc!

WELL THAT'S THE IDEA ANYWAY.

The events on the horizon will be,

MONTEBERG RALLY.

YPRES RALLY.

HEMISCUDA RALLY.

TOUR OF FLANDERS.

I will keep you posted nearer the time.

Arron.
