Directions & map printed (30 of) have stayed with the same route as last year due to high numbers attending[H] Please fill up with fuel before you get to Nottcuts as the convoy to Hastings will NOT be stopping on route 3/4 of a tank will be plenty sufficient [] If you have walkie talkies then bring them along[Y] This is a family day trip out & the convoy will keep within the speed limits[Y] appart from the weather this was a great day out last year[] parking will be decided on the day as weather conditions will dictate on parking availibillity[Y]

OK seeing as this is only a week away i thought i would mention a couple of things

Firstly as you probably know Markie is kindly printing up some directions & maps for the trip, when you get to Nottcuts could you please make sure you get a copy and read them as seeing we have nearly 30 cars we are bound to get split up at some stage along the route although we should be able to pull over somewhere for everyone to catch up it can't be guaranteed and we don't want anyone getting lost [:$]

Secondly if you can't make this trip please could you let me know ASAP, also if for any reason on the morning of the trip you can't make it could you text or phone me on my mobile so we are not waiting around for people who are not turning up, if you don't have my mobile number PM me and i'll send it to you [Y]

I'm picking my nephews up from Chelsfield (they loved the last tunnel run so much that they want to come on another jolly) and as I'm not 100% sure where Nottcuts is does anyone want to meet in Orpington (perhaps Sevenoaks Way or Crittals Corner somewhere) to form a mini convoy and help me from getting lost! I don't know how long it takes to get there either so perhaps you can suggest a meet time and place. Cheers.

One of our spies who knows the local area has suggested that parking is a problem in the Old Town and gets very busy both in Pelham Place and along Rock A Nore by the fish huts.  Also worth noting that the parking attendants are like flies round s***e and it's quiet expensive to park for more than a couple of hours.

 Although not the most glamorous of parking, the Priory Meadow car park in town centre is apparently only £1 all day on Sundays and you could all get parked fairly well together on the tenth floor or on the roof.
