wedmonds1 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 While at TSL they said that my clutch may need doing in the coming months. So, who can advise on where, how long and cost on getting it done on my 03 STI?
granby Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Keep a eye on Scoobynet in the group buy section as hopefully API engines should be doing another group buy soon on Exedy uprated clutchs (good for around 400bhp) & lightened flywheels
vickyk Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Hi Wayne Now that you are running 350bhp i would recommend putting in an uprated one. Ive heard that the 'new age' Subarus need to have the flywheels replaced too (not on all cars tho) As for fitting Xtreme Scoobies seem to be reasonbly priced. Mr Clutch could sorce and OE one for you and fit it but not sure how long it would last as im not sure what the STI clutches can take. Paul K ( i work with clutches)
granby Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 How about this Wayne http://bbs.scoobynet.com/private-sale-gene...ti-6-speed.html
