kloon Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Had the original grill badge nicked off the Scoob a week or so ago, thought i'd go for something a bit different to replace it so ordered a nice shiny new Pink one from Scooby Parts which I got on Tuesday, put it on Wednesday lunchtime, came out this morning and voila, that's gone an all. I know it's only a badge but the front end looks right scruffy without one and it's the priniciple of the thing that p!sses me off, you spend yer hard earned on stuff only for some little scrote to come along and help themself. In hindsight I suppose getting a Pink one was asking for trouble as that would probably attract the tw@ts even more ! Guess i'll just have to leave it without one for a few weeks now in the hope that whoever is half inching them gets bored. The joys of motoring [:@]
RA Dunk Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 wee A.R.$.E holes! cant see why they would be after subaru badges anyway? did ya try using silicone when ya stuck it on last time? maybe that would make it a wee bit harder to come off?

Nah, I should have tho Dunk. Can see where he/she has levered a knife or a screwdriver under it to yank it off.
RA Dunk Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 maybe even worth trying super glue or something next time ?
kloon Posted March 2, 2007 Author Posted March 2, 2007 maybe even worth trying super glue or something next time ? It WAS superglued !
scientific steve Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 kin ell matey not good to hear hope the rest of the front was ok ? thieving little tw@ts, should get a metal one and wire it up to as many volts as poss [] that would teach the little runts
SEEVERS Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Next time use mitre mate/mitre fast,it's a superglue with an applicator spray, that will keep it on,but just watch yer wee fingers. Del.
chris_c201 Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I can see the rationale of securing it properly but i would be worried the spiteful little feckers would decide to screwdriver the bonnet or something instead......
