Got a parking ticket for the Scoob in Edinburgh the other week, so I wrote them a letter...

 Got one back this morning...

It read... 

DALE - ONE
EDINBURGH CITY COUNCIL - NIL

I
think you'll find that Dale wins again... Key Phrases I like from that
letter include - "However, the photographs - taken by the parking
attendant at the time - shows that the legend at the above location is
worn and faded." and My personal favorite, "In view of the
circumstances of the case, as stated above, the parking ticket has been
withdrawn and cancelled on this occasion."
