wedmonds1 Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I have noticed that my (turbo?) sounds a little ... er gritty. I say gritty because i dont know what else to call it and i say turbo because i hear it spin up. Not sure if its been there a while or that it means i should be worried about something. I am heading to TSL next week so i can get them to check it then but anyone have any ideas or thoughts/experience of what it could be? Cheer all

wedmonds1 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Spoke to TSL and they said that its highly unlikely to be the Turbo as they are "ultra reliable" on the 03 STI. Also said that they do not think it would be bearings as they are Roller Bearings and not Floating. They also thought it would be unlikly if it was dirty. Hmmm very odd then... There advice is to bring it anyway and they will check it before going ahead with work. Anyone else have any thoughts?
