Sti Y pipe diff between classic and newage

Hi guys tryin to buy a sti y piece pipework for a sti8 intercooler guy i was meant to be getting on off says it is off a late classic sti are the sti8 and late classic Y piece pipework the same? it looks the same anyway. cheers Greig.

A sti 8 tmic don't have a Y pipe like the wrx tmic.

The y piece on the sti is made of metal with a rubber tubing joining it on 1 section.

Yup thats what im bidding on just wondering if there is a diff between the classic sti one a an sti one?

Did you but a STI v8 tmic without the pipe work?

Mate the first pic you posted is the pipework im bidding on lol Yup got the intercooler from Jimser just spoke to him infact a was going to use the wrx pipework like he was but saw this and thought that will do and now i know for sure it will. Cheers Peter to the rescue once again.
