What was everyone's first serious batch of mods ???

Have been reading techy posts on here for a good few months now -

trying to take in all the tips I can. Still a wee bit unsure about something.

I've done a few things to my car, engine / handling wise and was wondering what the next

logical step would be?

Whats on : P/drive springs / geometry

H&S De-catted exhaust (high flow d/pipe for MOT's)

Walbro fuel pump

Green panel filter

Andy F. remap.

I'm not saying I must increase the power of the car ASAP - lovin' the car

how it is at the mo but just so I know what to aim for in the future. Have picked up on maybe

a TD04H turbo upgrade and bigger injectors ?? Brakes and drop links

in particular will be changed aswell before anything else.

Sorry for the essay.

the first batch of mods I did was a cone filter, decat and boost guage, according to a so called subaru tuning company whom I trusted these were the mods to get, or as I later discovered a way of making money out of me and helping my car draw warm air from under the bonnet.

I then went my own way and made up my own mind, deciding to change the ecu and work with what I had, as I added more mods I could have it remapped.

The ecu I  chose was the possum Link ecu, 10 row, cheap, cheerful and proven. It was simple to understand, and i was very happy with it. I had any professional maps I had done saved on my laptop and I could have a go at map myself, always returning to a safe map once I had finished my fiddling.

Then I added 4 pots. That was my first batch of mods.

Cheers lads, had a wee look over Andy's website (again)

If I'm right my car has 380cc injectors at the mo ?

Both these and my std TMIC should be able to cope with low to mid 300 figures ?

I'm not looking for a daft increase in power from the car - just a modest setup. Always

amazes me what can be achieved with relatively easy 'bolt - ons'.

Think one of these hybrid T04 turbos is a must tho - suppose I'd better get saving again[:D]
