Fab 1 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Just wondered if anyone has purchased the new Scoobie car seats. Having problems with our current car seat, that works with isofix, noticed that subura now supply their own wondered if anyone has one, and what they think? Jen
Guest Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 hi at £300 are they not dear!, there are good seats out there. the onse we have in our scoobs are great, if i remember right bebecare (or something like that) can check later. our wee one is 3 in april. alan
sti pretender Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Glasgow Pram Centre has a great range of seats and have found the are very reasonable priced. Also Mamas and Papas is worth a look at Glasgow Fort. Currently have two M&P's seats in the Scoob not Isofix but very secure when fitted and kids seem happy. Kids are 17 months and 3 1/2 years.

You've got 2 kids aswell.....wouldn't it be great if you could get kids seats to match the front sti seats
Guest Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 here is a link http://www.recaro.com/index.php?id=2904&am...html%3F&L=2to recaro's site for kids seats.
micra_wrc Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 those recaro seats are cool. strange how the prices are not easily found (gave up looking after 20 seconds hunting for it). That means its expensive
Guest Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 think the recaro "start" seats are 200 pounds and have speakers in them, that price was a year or so ago. they have added others to the range, incl ones that are isofix - didnt have that 3 yrs ago.
philip_wilson Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I've the Recaro young sport (black & blue) for my wee boy and away to get the black & pink one for my wee girl. Imy they cost about £160 or so if I remember right
Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Love the Recaro seats, look superb, are they ISOFIX? For some reason thought the scoobie seats were cheaper than £300. Tried both Mamas and Papas and Glasgow Pram Centre, but Alan and I really want the ISOFIX car seat and there aint many at all. We have the Britax one just now, and it aint that great. Jen

Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Superb, thanks Philip [Y] Just out of curiosity do you have either one, just to get your views before buying. Jen
philip_wilson Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 No I've the Recaro Young Sport for my wee boy as the Classic scoobies don't have the isofix system
Fab 1 Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Thanks Philip for all your help, will let you know what we choose [Y] Jen
