scoobyiain Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Dougie i tried using a clay bar and that never worked. my advice is let your finger nails grow for a bit and just have plenty of patience. Stickers were the dogs tho, have left the scottish scoobies part on. Where can i get a bigger one?
andy Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Hairdrier on them should loosen the glue enough to peel them off - or use a new stanley blade.
scoobyiain Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I did think of a stanley blade but scared of them. wish i thought of the hairdryer, will remember for next year
Guest AlanK Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I am just off to find a 3 floor extension lead to get the hair dryer to ther car Not got round to taking the back sticker off even tho I washed the car yesterday (which was fun as the water turned to ice in a few minutes leaving me sliding about on my backside in the street whilst the car turned into a giant ice cube!) scoobyiain Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 lol i was the same yest cleaning my car, took me 10 mins to de-frost the hose and when cleaning the car i had to hold on to car with one hand and clean with the other. took a little longer than normal and left a mini skating rink on the road.
Dougie C Posted December 19, 2006 Author Posted December 19, 2006 Took my stickers off this afternoon and was in the middle of doing it while the neighbour suggested a bucket of soapy hot water on the windows 1st and I had a little blade which managed fine. AlanK, you'll have great fun in taking off the back sticker I didn't realise it was all separate stickers on the one big sheet hehe. Dougie
