gina_winder Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 It could happen and does, after a bad day at work I was glad to be sat on the motorway happy to be on my way home, when a pug, one car in front of me for some unknown reason flipped out of control rolling about 9 times only stopping when it hit the verge on the hard should. I had started slowing down but as I came next to the very smashed car. A dog from the car ran out into the middle of the motorway. I hit the breaks so hard that I hit my head on the steering wheel. The woman driving was in a bad way and the dog was finally caught. My reason for sharing this with you is two thing 1st all dogs owners should have a dog harness (they need to be safe too!!) and second is thank god I was in the Subaru if I had still been driving the MR2 I would have hit the dog. Being the sad sac that I am I cried all the home thinking about that poor dog!!
yogi- Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Is your steering wheel ok though [] Has your forehead got the imprint of the Subaru logo LMAO [] Only kidding [] i hope you are ok but seriously is your head and "Gregory" ok
baser999 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 ............. when a pug, one car in front of me for some unknown reason flipped out of control rolling about 9 times only stopping when it hit the verge .......... They are so inconsiderate these people.......no thought given to making everyone else late home from work.........Thats me - all heart ps I feel sorry for the [&] having to travel with someone not able to keep their car upright, or perhaps the [&] was driving ?
gina_winder Posted December 13, 2006 Author Posted December 13, 2006 Head is fine, nothing in it so no harm done!!! neck and back sore today, but's that all part of my job. I think the dog would have done a better job of driving!!!
shiralee Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Hoooray for the Scooby then!! God knows how you would have coped if still driving the MR2!![:S] Thankfully the dog is ok...maybe you should have put it in your car and saved it from any further mishaps happening to the dog!!![]
