can a wrx type ra run without a thermostate i can mind yrs ago v6 couldnt run cos the back 2 pistons got starved of water wondered if the scooby engine suffered fom the same problem

Not recomended thermostat is there to allow engine to get to working temp as soon as possible if car runs cooler you will suffer high fuel  cons + start to wash the engine bores  (increased wear)DONT DO IT [] regards  GEO

cheers geo if i had run it i wouldnt have noticed the fuel con going up only get single figures to the gallon anyway lol but cheers again
