yogi- Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 The Police are now useing these to record crimes with. Do they record to a Hard drive or memory card.? Strap it to your head and away you go, get home and download and hey presto, sound the absolute genitals []
j-k Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Ive just ordered one of these... www.solware.co.uk/gadgets-toys/mobibox-mp410-portable-media-player.shtml It will also record video to an SD card...a 1GB card will record 1hr of video..ideal for trackdays and the occasional stage rally?? There is no hard drive in this unit so no chance of corruption of the files.. jon
yogi- Posted December 6, 2006 Author Posted December 6, 2006 What is the most memory you can get then if it's just for video ?
j-k Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 4Gb on an Sd card as far as i know, but someone will probably tell me otherwise... But you obviously just change them for another one when they are full up??? jon
yogi- Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 Do they have a screen on them so you can play back on site?
j-k Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Did you not paste that link into your browser?? All the info is listed there.... And in answer to your question...YES it does. £90...bargain price jon
yogi- Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 i'll take a look now [Y] £90 thats ok isn't it
j-k Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 If you google" mobibox mp410 " i think this is about as cheap as you will find it... I am expecting delivery of mine any day now.... so i will let you know how good it is.. jon
yogi- Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 I found it on that site you showed me, but i dont think its what i meant. I,m looking at something with a bullet camera hard wire or wireless as well
j-k Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 RIGHT...TRY THIS ONE THEN http://www.fastfilms.co.uk/ go into the SHOP and check out the solid state recorders/bullett cam kits good luck jon
yogi- Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 Thier kits are for mounting outside the car, try this site Jon www.actioncameras.co.uk i think iv'e found what i'm looking for now. []
j-k Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 you can mount the cams inside also.... i was just showing you that site as an example of both recorders and cameras. If you want good quality cameras, make sure you go for something at least 480tvl. and a recording device that will record resolutions of 640x480 svga(or as near to dvd quality as possible) jon
