scoobyjim Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 just got my scott lowe flaps today bought of a fellow scooby owner. they have all the fittings attached and the metal brackets attached so its just a case of attaching them to the car. whats involved? do i need to drill holes and stuff? i presume the wheels will have to come off as well? im not to good at diy so any help appreciated!! cheers.

Jim, If they're anything like the scooby world ones (metal fixing bracket), then they're a doddle. People say not to take off the wheels but it is far easier. The only holes you should have to drill is a self taping screw per side to support the bracket on the far inside of each wheel arch. Without seeing the fixtures it's hard to say whats involved exactly. With mine you have to pop out some of the existing plastic screws and replace them with the fixtures that come with the flaps. Sorry cant be of any more help - if you've some photies then I could maybe point you in the right direction ??. Craig.
