We, Russell(Wuz) and I have negotiated a wee deal with a local supplier for Air brake anti freeze AKA Methanol.

Russell will fill you in on all the technical info etc. i.e all the BS laws etc, re storage and holding. And also the full benefits of using this in your car.

think it`s safe to use as an additive like any other octane booster (depending on the ammount used, think andy recommends 10%), but like just about every other mod remap to get the best out of it , im sure somebody with a more of a clue will reply []

Is it true that methanol helps your emmissions, ie de-cats at MOT time???

I am not sure about the emmissions tests[*-)]

Just off the phone to the supplier and the following is a brief summary..........

The danger with methanol is the BS safety standards and COSHH regs you have to have on your premises for storing it

There are countless new laws and by laws, regarding the supply, shipping and storage of Methonal. Many couriers will not carry it now as well.

You will probably find that even garages will not have the correct legal requirements for its storage.

There have been countless changes of late with COSHH regs etc due to its toxicity and its colourless flame.

I know a few HGV Garages now no longer store it on there premises as the regs, paperwork and storage requirements you have to have in place are a mine field and is very expensive to implament.

Where is your shed? Bet you dont have mice problem......they wwill all be dead!

And i really hope you dont smoke in your shed, or sit in it for any length of time LOL
