ALWAYS BUY A TURBO!!!

Been trying to sell my Impreza moving up to an new STI. 52 plate GX Sport 67K looks the part (Morettes, Spoiler, WRX alloys, 7" LCD, DVD) and sounds the part (Peco S/S and ITG filter) but in three weeks I have had one call with some bloke wanting to swap me a imported Mitsubishi 4x4. Asking £5,950 which I didn't think was unreasonable, was prepared to take £5,500.

Visited a couple of garages at the weekend to see what I would get £4,000 was the best offer and all of them said it's a shame its not a turbo.

Bought this as a stop gap while the kids were at nursery, lesson learnt.

TBH i think the private market for Scoob's is pretty quiet at the moment anyway mate....

I struggled to sell my WRX which was a turbo!

i wouldnt really agree we had the 2l sport which also looked the part and we mainly bought it for insurance reasons and to make sure this was the way to go, we had a few idiots wanted to test drive but in the end we sold it on ebay. i think we could have sold the car over and over again and people still ask us if we still have it. we sold it to a boy down south and he was the same couldnt afford wrx insurance but could have a sport.

try ebay and make a point of it looking the part with low insurance, good luck with the sale!
