My Poor Scooby Seems Unwell :-(

Last week the orange water light came on, it was "reset" but since then the performance of my car has deteriorated, really slow on the uptake, heavily drinking fuel (1/4 tank on 10 mile trip!!) and backfiring slightly, don’t know if it is still in "Safe Mode". Having not been a Scooby owner for very long (less than a week), and not knowing a lot about the cars, was looking for some advice on what could be the problem? []

It's still under manufacturer’s warranty, so it looks like a trip to see Russell in Cupar (Sorry Russ.!)[:$]<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
