Axle Stand Location

Need to jack the car up but was wondering what the best location for the Axle Stands would be if any one has pics or can describe to me where the best place to place them it would be great

Martin,

Saw this on another forum as follows:

I tend to jack the front up on the metal plate in the middle of the front cross member where you steering rack is and put axle stands as far forwards as i can on the chasie legs.

As for the rear jack it on your toing eye which i think is at the back of the spare wheel well, if you have a rear diff gusrd jack it on there and put your axle stands on the rear sills in line with the point where your rear trailing arm mounts to the body.
