jacqui_robb Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 Craig - as per P.M. - clicky to citation edited to say - 4 pages long, but if ye cannae be bothered, just read pg4!
jacqui_robb Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 I actually contemplated selling mr scooby at the weekend......... Before buying the scooby i was searching for ages for a particular car but no joy. During that time i spotted mr scooby and that was that. Then at the weekend I spotted this.................... clicky to a sexy car Didnt do it tho!
johnnyr6 Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 Hi miss, that's a lovely cossie, the monte is the one i'd love to own just sell the aftermarket alloys and put the standard oz's back on and it would be perfect except it is overpriced imho.
jacqui_robb Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 Def overpriced, but good ones are getting harder to find - I know cos I searched for months! Still totally luv the cars, but since never driven/been in one (had never driven or been in a scooby til I got mine!), everyones telling me that it'd be cr#p compared to what I have now! Ah...but i still want one! I just wouldnt sell mr scooby for one - and i cant afford both!!!! Always want what u cant have! Planning few knockhill dates too as well as crail. dont know which ones yet though. what about u?
johnnyr6 Posted February 28, 2004 Posted February 28, 2004 Jaq, i'll prob be at the sidc days and hopefully a couple of hot marques nights. My m8 is looking for a car just now and he's got three to choose from, Sti type R, evo 6 and cossie. The cossie is his fav but as you said they are getting harder to find in good condition and most of them are either due or just had a full engine rebuild which is a little off putting. The cossie is a great car and cheap to tune but you do need a bit more power to stick with a scoob due to it being a little heavier. Looks the dogs though!
johnnyr6 Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Miss, i showed my m8 this car and he told me there is a thread on the rsoc about it, someone on there sold it to the dealer for 15K. That's a healthy profit if anyone buys it.
jacqui_robb Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Shocked to hear that! But good to know. Thats some profit on one car alright.
jacqui_robb Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 Kendo- forgot to say - not getting launch control for my car (cant have it for MY), but everything else is a go + getting the active diff too.
