bigdavie Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 how much would a *555ppp plate be worth roughly ??
wrxmania Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Exactly £250 from the DVLA including transfers and documentation fee. Someone may pay slightly more for it. Brian []
wrxmania Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Try these: http://www.dvla-som.co.uk/home/en/Search/p...p;x=94&y=15 Brian []
bigdavie Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 cheers the idea is i'm going down to london on sunday now (no chatelherault [] )to pick up a scooby for her brother and it has a 555ppp plate on it that he will be selling as he has his own plate ! he was just wondering how much he should ask for it !! cheers
ANDYJDMSTI Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 like has been said ......get on the DVLA no brainer!!!
bigdavie Posted August 19, 2006 Author Posted August 19, 2006 well all going well i will be asking £150 for this on here after monday !!
wrxmania Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 There will be a fee from the DVLA to transfer it - it costs £105 to put it on retention and re-assign it.. Having just done this last month - it takes approximately 4 weeks all in. The DVLA ones are £250 all in, assigned and on the car.
bigdavie Posted August 19, 2006 Author Posted August 19, 2006 aye but its only 80 bucks to swap the reggie innit ??
wrxmania Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 I think so yeah - you need to sign it over to someone else - can't remember what they call it - I think it is a nominee. Be a good plate for an UK car with PPP.
bigdavie Posted August 19, 2006 Author Posted August 19, 2006 yeah i know !! i thought it would be worth more than 250 tbh !!! unsurprisingly enough its coming off a uk turbo with ppp !! killa mate i would feel uneasy giving the reg no of a car that does not belong to me yet out !! you can understand ? but rest assured if and when the sale goes through i'll give you first refusal ?? fair enough ??!! cheers
