V POWER - formally known as optimax apparently

Hi guys was down in jedburgh with work today and needed to get fuel for works van so pulled into shell garage at jedburgh, filled with diesel then went into pay and handed my optimax pluspoints card and was told by assistant that as of october your optimax card is no longer valid.  I said "What do you mean?"  She told me that as of october there will no longer be optimax available at the pump.  I was on the verge of telling her "I'm sorry you can't do that!" when she told me that it is being replaced with v power.  The assistant didn't tell me anymore but just thought I would let you guys know but you probably already know about this anyway.

Surley they cant make the optimax card invaild, what about all the points some people have saved up, they must be transferable or somthing i would of thought.

You have to phone this number to get points transferred once v power is released 08459 006008

Yeah,

I phoned their customer services but was told to phone back during office hours.  I phoned Shell UK too but they were the same.

I have emailed them to ask this question.
