Phil and you want a discount for the delay Craig
kloon Posted August 22, 2006 Author Posted August 22, 2006 Looks like some light at the end of the tunnel, been informed by Neil at Scoobyworld (think he's head honcho) that the spoiler is now at the drying process and will be collected by them tomorrow for despatch Thursday and (hopefully) delivery Friday.

Let's hope they don't let you down again Ari.
oz *sti* Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Sorry mate but I for one would not have let it go on this long, Have you spoke to Neil or Wendy who run Scoobyworld about any sort of discount / refund postage, compensation for this bad customer service they have shown you, it's the least they can do I feel. I would not be letting this rest bye just taking there word that the item will be sent keep getting on the phone them and when they advise it has been sent request for a tracking number I'm sure they still use city link and you can track it over the net. I have bought many things from scoobyworld in the past always got it the next day but as people say it only take 1 bad feedback to change peoples minds, and the treatment they have shown you is not what I class as customer service at all!!! ian_rowburrey Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I ordered mine a week ago Friday via a finance agreement and recieived them this morning! No reason at all for you to be waiting any longer than you have since your order was clearly in before mine!! I was on the phone every couple of days though just to keep a tab on where they were, just keep calling. Now reading this really does f*ck me off ! Evilsoup, did you get yours painted ? Yes mate i did, and found out yesterday when i had it fitted that there was a washer rolling around inside it somewhere and there was no fitting kit either, which means no bolts, no instructions and NO template!!! Because of this a 2 hour job took closer to five hours!! If you have recieved it as well could you let me know if there are 6 large holes under the wing that can be seen when your standing next to it or did yours come with coloured caps or something to hide them because they could be part of the fitting kit. If not, i have to say i aint at all happy, the wing is supposed to be a quality replica and with big holes under the wing i am embaressed to open the boot!!!!!!!!![:$] Thanks mate.
kloon Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 It's due to be delivered some time today mate, so i'll let you know as soon as I have a chance to inspect it. Only thing is mine is for a classic, yours for a newage, so might be totally different anyway !
ian_rowburrey Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I just spoke to them and it is supposed to be like that, no plugs or bungs. Thanks anyway mate, i hope all is well with yours and you have no further issues. Thanks again, Ian
kloon Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 I hope all is well with yours and you have no further issues. Thanks again, Ian No comment, I really can't be @rsed with them no-more, suffice to say the Spoiler is not quite up to expectations, but i'm not into slagging folk/companies on the net so i'm not going into any more details. Oh and aye, there is 6 holes for access to the 4 screws (3 in mine cos the 4th was lolloping around inside the spoiler along with 3 washers []) on my spoiler.
DR Motosport Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 evil.soup, Those holes are there for access to the bolts that join the top and bottom sections of the spoiler. However on our STi 8 rear spoiler we now supply flush fitting grommets to cover the holes. We Don't use the same spoiler supplier, and our spoilers have 4 off 1" holes, so we use 1" grommets. If the holes on yours are also 1" send me a PM and I'll post some to you. David
