z1000 Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 After reading the centre section thread i'm wondering how many cats my car has ? Its a 03 STI ppp, would a aps down and up pipe make much difference in performance and sound ? Steve
z1000 Posted August 11, 2006 Author Posted August 11, 2006 Also how difficult are they to fit ? do i need new gaskets etc ? I can get acess to a pit and am pretty handy but generally hate doing exhausts.
chris_c201 Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Would an STi PPP not have the Sports Cat in the downpipe?
craig mac Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Yes there is a sport cat in the downpipe too If it has a PPP fitted, it should have the sport cat in the downpipe only, dont be fooled by heat shields, Many garaged when changing the pipework for the PPP will refit the heat sheilds. Your Uppipe will have no cat in it either, or should not have. If you are looking for an exhaust i have "several" back boxes in the garage[] Also have a centre section Craig

z1000 Posted August 13, 2006 Author Posted August 13, 2006 Any one else ? Just need to know if its gonna make a worth while difference ?
