Delights of Dartmoor

I'm doing 4 days of B&B in Hexworthy on Dartmoor from Aug.8 - 11  I'll be driving down from Essex as  I badly need some fresh air, do a bit of walking, consume a few beers and generally chill out!

Are there any mid week meets in that general area during that period or any suggestions for places to visit?

By the way, well done to the SWS for the work at Rallyday.  Most of the Essex mob were at JAE staring at the same Jap cars as all the other shows and seeing who could make the biggest flames out the back! [:$]  Not really my thing I'm afraid!

there are no meets arranged for them , but am sure myself and scoobtastic and the locals can arrange something []

Even though it was a bit of a wash out we had a wonderful display and we were able to help the Richard Burn Foundation by collecting over £800 in donations and £142.00 and 1 Euro was raised on the sidc stand alone thanks to liz and myself shaking the buckets.
