OK Ian - so we might be in the area tomorrow for a time (Camber that is) and would love to wish you a happy birthday (face to face).  You do seem to like a token Scooby from Sussex to join your jaunts?

Do you have any idea when you will get there, and do you have a contact number? We will be in the Dungeness area, so just around the corner.  Won't be able to stay long though - grandchildren for afternoon tea, you see.

Second that....great day.....top barman....and Trevor had squared up all his debts [:D][:D] As far as the trip back from the pub was concerned I knew precisely where I was going.....well sort of - felt happier when I saw a sign for Ashford lol

Just a few things that I think we should take on board for next time we go to the beach

1. Take a softer football!

2. All learn how to throw a frisbee - for reference purposes www.frisbee.com/freestyle/tips/basic.html

3. Load up with coins (anything but £2) for the car-parks

4. Take jumpers for goal-posts

5. Order anything but fish at the chippy - takes too long!

6. Remember stunt-kites, swingball , cricket stuff, baseball bat and ball, boule set etc etc..........is there a club fund for this sort of thing lol

and for the journey home have someone at the front who's got a rough idea of where they're going......although having said that we passed a few nice looking pubs for future reference [:P]

Finally thanks to Ian for having his birthday in August - that would have been a lousy day on the beach in November lol

I knew where we were going.......[:P] Seriously though I think I did a left instead of a right but hey, it was fun convoying through those little villages and there were some nice looking pubs we could perhaps return to another day. If I'd not seen that sign for Ashford we could still be there now lol.
