Help Help Help Car Making Beeping Noises at me

Was disabling the saftey lock feature on the car as there has been a few occasions where ive almost looked the keys in the car, However now when i goto lock the car it beeps twice at me and once when you unlock it,, help help help have i pressed a button by mistake.

Also the imobliser key thing always keeps flashing, just noticed it, is it the same on all cars will stop flashing when the key goes in the ignition but when out it flashes very slowly......

Car is a 2004 STi Type UK,

Turn on the vehicle ignition, press the remote button once, type 7, immediately turn off the ignition.

Replace 7 with 6 to switch off.

* Toggles between loud & soft bleeps

4 activates Auto lock (sort of Anti Hi jack)

5 Turns off Auto lock.

I'm heading outside now to switch it off  as it gets a bit embarrasing when everyone stares at you for locking your car, im just glad someone knows how.
