GrantyBoy Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Hey Guys Keeping my Subaru in storage for the forseable future, untill a buyer comes along or I decide that I will keep it and tune it up. What I want to know is there any extra work involved for keeping her in storage. Car is in a large garage with good ventilation. I'm thinking stick it on a trickle charger and put some old steel wheels on her so the Toyos don't get warped with the weight. Is there anything else I need to do? Cheers Grant
p1ggm Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 if its a good lockup i would just disconect the battery, maybe crack the windows down a touch to let air in, and cover it with a good car cover
WUZ Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Long term storage ( more than 6 months)...............................REMOVE all the fluids from the car (Oil, water, Clutch and Brake, etc) REMEMBER TO REDO them once your taking the car out of storage! Russell
