Guest AlanK Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 ANyone know if 6.5" will fit in a classic waggon? I have a set of Missions and a Kenwood PS amp thats has been in the cuboard for 4 years - would love to use them again on something... (if I can mount the amp so that I can still use the boot)
seafar99 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I've just changed the front door speakers on my classic to INFINITY'S that were 5.25", roughly took half an hour each side.
frank c Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Did you need to use any spacers for the 5.25" or was it a straight swap ???? Frank.
seafar99 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 It was pretty much a straight swop, except that i had to cut away part of the inner bowl with a stanley knife( that would probably depend on which make of speakers you buy) this isn't a big job and as i said about half an hour a door, job complete and a big difference over the pishy standard ones.
