andy Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 BBC News Article - Tayside clamping down. Obviously no real criminals to catch...
RA Dunk Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Quote "It is also noticeable that a number of motorcyclists are wearing helmets fitted with heavily tinted visors. Quote now that is petty , it`s not as though a motor cyclist can just put on a pair of sunglasses when he pleases , and if it does start getting dark or he`visibility is getting poor all he need`s to do is lift the visor ..yes the muppet squad strike again
bigbadboab Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Stick within the rules and regs of tinting and they can do bugger all. Bikers can wear a tinted visor in daylight as long as it is replaced with a clear visor for night time riding (ooerr missus[:$])
scooby222 Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 afraid not, max tint allowed on visors is 30% which is p/ss all use. however i can paint over a pair of glasses with black paint and wear those under the visor quite legally,go figure!
