We had a fantastic time today helping out with the marshalling even if it was a little wet[] still it just added more exitement to the day[Y] mk2 escort's with cossie power in the wet is something everybody should witness[] Oh and i'd like to appologise to j-k for having a spare brolly in the boot but not realising until he was like a drownded rat[][][]. Think the moment of the day goes to the guy in the mini, they was the last car through on their last lap of the last stage when they both decided to wave back at us to which he lost control on the very last bend of his rally & disapeared through some small trees then finishing up against a huge bugger of a tree[] as we rushed to his aid we could see trees rustling about as if king kong was hidden in them but to our delight it was them reversing back & with a little help they managed to complete the rally[H][] Would we do it again.........................you bet[]

The incident with the mini was hilarious, the King Kong explaination is bang on....lol

My Photos didnt turn out that good, so i dont think they are worth posting up. Hopefully yours are better.

Thanks two you both for your help on Sunday, a big thanks to Lin for doing the check lists, you looked really worried before when I asked you if you could do it. It was'nt that bad though,  WELL DONE!

Markie, KING KONG is alive and kicking somewhere in Longcross. LOL's.

I felt really bad at the end when we all started waving at the tree surgeon oops mini driver, I bet he was gutted,1st rally, last car,last stage and last corner and he had us prats waving and cheering him on. Then OH SH1T!!!!!!!!!!  I bet his co-driver was doing his nut. ( can't say bolloxs ).

 

Anyway again a big thanks to you both, get ya MSA lisenses  and join us in December for the Rally GB.

OH AND A BIG SORRY TO THE MINI CREW!
