rear fog light

recently i noticed that my rear for light switch wasnted worked, so i decided to get a proper subaru one wired in instead( as mine is an import and had one of those universal switchs) problem is, the switch that has been wired in has no light on the switch to say that the fog light is on, and obviously there is no warning light on the dashboard when its on, but the fog light is working, will it fail its mot for this? its due in on wednesday,

front and rear fog lights must show some sort indication of  light when switched on

front must show an green light

rear must show an orange light

it depends on the tester or if u know him

thay might just advise on it, if u was to tell him it is an import.

try ur luck with it.

cheers, its already been in for an mot, failed on fog light and couple off other things, taking it back to who tested it the first time, the place im taking it to, i get all my mots done there, so they do know me, hoppyfully he`ll let it pass.
