ed-209 Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Looking to get all my alloys redone as I have heard nothing for Subaru UK about getting then done/replaced under warranty. That was almost 3 months since I report it to Iain Grieve in Camelon, Falkirk. I even took photos and emailed to charlie there, Still nothing so I am going to get them done and pay for it, then send the invoice to Warranty dept. As most of you already know some of the Blob eye have problems with the gold paint, bubbling and then flaking off, and it's getting right on my lady boobs. As it's effecting all 4 of my alloys 2 of them are really bad. Any recommended place must be good enough for you to trust. Ed

[] Mines are the same, back edge of the spokes all have bubbled and the paint starts to flake off. On one of the wheels the paint started flaking out from the bolt holes too that wheel has been touched up a few times now and it just looks a mess, but it looks okay from a distance (it's because I know it's there). I touch goats back Sharon
G.Mac Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Davie I got a quote a while back for dooing my wheels along with both wheels for my bike and swingingarm and if memory serves me right it was about £150 all in, deff not more than £150 (that included him getting the tyres off and on, but not ballancing) but unfortunately wheels are still gold and bike is still in a big box of bits Graeme
