My point Exactly al

Pioneer cheaper mid range poor rms figures

Genesis top end over the average advertised rms figure 35% over and a little costly, in fact one of my Dual Mono Extreme would power all in your motor mate. Note i said one of them PMSL[:)][:D]

Head Unit 8600 and the Audio Control EQL in there too

Kappa Infinity Ref Series Mids front and rear  12 Sub also Infinity 12.1 ref Kappa series,

Yes your right quality that counts[:)]

Craig

Soon to be the loudest best quality sounding boot in Scots Scoob[:P]

Forgot the 2 off 10" JL audio subs too lol[:D]

Read up on rms and peaks mate

Pioneer are pants in amp terms[W] Genesis are the dogs dangles [li]

With the correct wiring splits and eqs one would drive 4 sets of mids and tweets and 4 subs to the same as your 2 pioneers buddy

Not getting into a pi555ing contest here bud, i know my ICE and sound systems of all kinds, it was my job for long enuff in a professional manner[:)]

Trust me on this one. What does the likes of beckham, Coulthard, etc have fitted to there motors? Genesis

End off[:)]

The Dual Mono Extreme is ony a two channel amp rated at 2 x 200 @ 4ohm,

Aye it would drive 4 sets of mids and tweets and 4 subs but would sound shite.

Even then thats at 14.4 volt form the head unit which it will never ever supply ??

Aye

And it cost me a bacon roll and a cup oh tea, Did you get that boost gage fixed?

And i saw and hear your set up.

End off topic, I would not run a pioneer in my van am afraid

Genesis will pi55 all over kenwood alpine pioneer etc etc in rms and output freq etc

They do not come any better trust me

Thats why we run capacitors, EQLs  two batteries and other little tweeks

That one amp would burn out every speaker in your car within 30 minutes running at 20 to 30% gain, when wired and split correctly am afraid

Look again at the ACTUAL RMS figures on the genesis site, then look at the ACTUAL RMS capacity of your Speakers!and indeed your amps......shocking really the peek to rms drop on the Pioneer , alpine, sony, kenwood etc

I have installed more sound systems than most and as i said trust me, even the lad who is doing my Pro install this time round, his jaw dropped and thats his business, Advised having the windows open when switching on system.........never to be run higher than 45% gain..................He has never seen the likes, after 22 years of installs...... How high are the gains on Pio's ken's Sony's etc etc screwed to the max because the rms levels are so low

Doesnt really matter if they go up, down left or right. What matters as you said is the end rms output,

if you spend the money you will get the rms output no matter what type of amp you use.

Its not my fault pioneer quote stupid peak power figures to sell thier stuff.

They pro installing you system obviously hasnt installed too many top notch systems

if his jaw dropped at what you are putting in. Its is good, better than mine as i said but

nothing to get that excited about to be honest.

Just settle petal and keep calm !!

Looking forward to hearing/seeing it when uve finished.

Howdy my man,

Got Laura's wheels fitted today and I am just uploading some pictures now............

Your ICE install is going to be mental - I look forward to an eardrum bursting passenger ride on Thursday.  The Parrot is a particularly nice touch....

Give me 10mins and I'll post up some pictures of her car.

Ta for that big man.  The alloys do suit the car nicely and the Mrs is really chuffed, so much so in fact it is a good time to potentially order the defi's.  [:D]

This is going to be a big week for your scooby.  A monster ICE install and some new shoes.  I'll take my ear defendors to work tomorrow in preparation for the passenger ride.........[;)]

You still have a few hours left mate - although it does sound like a big job.  Please take this as notice of my impending passenger ride tomorrow.  Ta
