paul_young2 Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 If key plipper battery does not work, there is keypad next to steering wheel to use ,i don,t have 4 figure number for it what do i do.? (Would hate to be stuck unable to start car?)
scientific steve Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 i keep a spare battery in the car for just that, check to see if you can open the car with just the key in the door just to be safe this will set off the alarm but you should be able to reset it with the key fob and you can do the same once you have your new battery from inside your mota if it ever happens to ya
ANDYJDMSTI Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Buy a new battery, if you cannot find one and if the car is second hand get in touch with the previous owner (details should be on registration form) and ask if they can remember the code.
p1rg Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I went to Town & County in Perth when they were still about. I needed the v5 in my name with ID and they faxed it somewhere with a request. 10 minutes later I had my code. They can only give you the code it was originally set with. If someone has changed it, I think your stuck! Ryan
