Replacing the clock with a DAB radio

Recommended Posts

I was talking about this on Sat, about replacing the digital clock with a DAB radio adaptor. sound reception is really good when not moving, but I will need to get a better antenna. connected it via a rf modulator as a stop gap, will get rewire direct to the aux ports in the boot when doing the boot build.

So that another part of the project done.

Yep I did it last night for fixing the pod to accept the digital display and today for wiring up the phono to rf mod

and the power, I used a small dab adaptor that currys where selling off at £19.99 the digital display is only about

2mm short for the clock hole (thank god for hot glue guns). not really as hard as I would have thought.the hardest

part was getting the guts to cut the back of the pod,as for the Defi gauges I will use A piller pods (I hope)
