OE Up-Pipe from a classic - Worth fitting to a bug-eye?

Ignoring the obvious issue of the EGT boss......

Is it worth fitting a well wrapped up-pipe from a classic in place of the cat'ed up-pipe in a bugeye WRX.... obviously other work will be getting done at the same time and i'm gonna change the up-pipe anyway, got offered this one for the cost of the postage and just wondering if i should stop being a cheap skate and just hold off for a flexi one....

Anyone?

Is it a OE one then, from a newage?

Waiting for a wee while before fitting cos i'm going for the downpipe and ported headers at the same time, prolly get Wuz to do it....

Hmmm....

If you remove the heatshielding from the OE Classic/STi Uppipe you'll find that it is flexible.

OH YES! - you could just leave the OE heat shielding on instead (no need to pay for wrapping something that is already covered. Your money, your choice).

Wuz - If there's no point in removing the heatshield then i'll not do it, less i have to spend the better, lol

Coulster - Already got one lined up but cheers anyway,

Chris
