road warrior Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Hi Pretty sure my front O/S is fookt, slight grinding feeling thru the steering wheel and bad vibrations. Anyone know if its an easy job to fit a new one? Never done one before Cheers John
BlackWagon Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 You need a press to fit them mate and certain years have non removable bearings so you would change the hub. It's probably a garage job - in Fife go to Falkland Performance in Glenrothes (they have a web site) - I got my rear one done for £55 and the bearing was £32 from D&A Motor Factors Glenrothes (across from F.P. in fact) Excellent job they did too. Got the car back inside 2 hours.
