markie Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Going to the sunseaker rally today[] get to see stages 1 & 2 tonight for free, then we will get to see 3 stages tomorrow[] if our timing works out right[^o)][] will put some pictures on when we get back,thats if we have not frozen to death[][]

Thought it might be you as you were travelling slowly on the inside lane!!! We did the time keeping on the flying finish of SS7 and SS15... What stages did you watch? jon

Done just under 300 miles today, round trip,(as well as driving the stages in the van...lol[])..So that makes my total just over 1K miles this week, and i was off on wednesday[] jon

markie Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 j.k you could of given us a hoot as you came passed this might of woken me up[], we took in stages 1&2 on friday night then stages 4 / 9 & 15. We got a cracking place on stage 4 with some brill pictures, stage 9 was ok then we had another good place on stage 15 mind you it was getting dark nearer the end all you could see was head lights coming at you [][]

Stage 15 was getting very rutted after the mornings stage going the other way, so im sure that made it more interesting for the spectators. We were on the finish line doing the timing lights and collecting the car info...and stopping the spectators from walking in the dangerous bits. The cars were doing close to 3 figures when they passed us!! Hope you had a good day jon

Yes stage 15 is a very fast stage we were there last year but on the straight which is a mile long and they go along there at over a ton[] with trees either side[H][Y][]
