As above, does anyone have one of these or used one..?

Thinking about buying one for ma missus.

Do i need to pay a subscription for it or is the software free to download or supplied with it..?

Don't really know anything about them...just thought it might be handy for Katie....only £154 in Asda.

Thanks Cal,but i know my way around Scotland pretty well due to work mate.

The only reason i was thinking of getting this cheaper satnav system is that Katie only knows how to get to about 4 or 5 places without calling to ask me directions.

Just wondered if anyone could tell me anything about them.

Cheers anyhoo bud.

Del - I would roll with the Tom Tom as it has a nice screen and seems tried and tested. My mate has the Garmin and it's ok but the processor ain't that hot and the screen is poor. BUT it's a damn good price !

Loads of these being knocked at the moment so taking it out everytime you park up might be a ball-ache ?

CGS

p.s new house is fine but the garage is a midden at the moment - roll on the summer
