dump valve help

hi all

have recently fitted an aftermarket blow off valve to my 95 wrx. car runs fine at low revs but when i open it up i get idle problems with car stalling now and then. dump valve is excatly the same as blitz supersound sold at scoobyworld and seems to be working fine.

i was told by jap-express (who i bought dump valve from) i need to buy an electronic idle stabilizer , has anybody any ideas or fixes on this before i spend 69.99 for eids.

I assume this is a VTA (vent to atmosphere) dump valve

Not sure why as i have a VTA and it runs fine, have you posted this in the strictly technical section as well as i'm sure someone should know about this or someone tomorrow might be able to help you []

I've got a VTA dump valve and have no problems either. Have you tried putting the re-circ valve back on to see if the dump valve is definately the cause of the problem.

hi dan did you have any luck with adjusting the spring, as i said on sunday?

havn,t had the chance to put it back on yet , hopefully get it on saturday.
